Released in 2016, A Silent Voice is about the story of a young man named Shoya and a deaf girl named Shoko made by Kyoto Animation, a studio acknowledged for it’s excellent animations and standards of equality. Starting out as a bully, Shoya eventually befriends Shoko, and even helps her little sister Yuzuru. This movie deals with many difficult concepts, but in the end is well worth the watch.
