Shimon Hijiri (è–シモン, Hijiri Shimon) is a ChÅ«nin from Konohagakure. In Part I he is a proctor for the written portion of the ChÅ«nin Exams. In Part II he assists Inoichi Yamanaka in reading the mind of YÅ«dachi. His eyes are obstructed by his bangs in the manga.
