A second year at Nijigasaki High, and Ayumu Uehara's childhood friend. She and Ayumu are the first two girls Kasumi Nakasu recruits after she attempts to revive the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club.

Despite being a member, Yuu herself is not an idol, preferring a role as the club's cheerleader.
