Diancie, though technically genderless, is the princess of the pokemon, Carbink(Japanese: メレシー Melecie). Diancie is seen as fun loving and sometimes immature by her royal guard Carbinks. She cares for other pokemon, as she saved a Pangoro (Japanese: ゴロンダ Goronda) and a Pancham (Japanese: ヤンチャム Yancham) from being stuck in a tree log as well as her Carbinks from the pokemon Ariados (Japanese: アリアドス Ariados).
